Our History
Established in 2008 in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Precise Digital Printing has grown from a small, quick turnaround printing company to a large-scale, full-service commercial printing company. We’re now known as a facility that accommodates some of America’s most demanding and well known companies. Our keen understanding of client expectations and state-of-the-art technology is what makes PDP a continued success year after year.
After years of continued growth, in 2017 PDP decided to move into its own 30,000 sq ft building in Bensenville, IL. We increased our staff and digital printing capacity to 8 flatbed printers and 3 ten-foot roll-to-roll printers, a Multicam router, and two Zund cutters. The additional space allowed the expansion of our fulfillment center and to accommodate larger national distributions, all while increasing the level of customer service and dedication to our products.
In 2020, while the world was at a standstill, PDP continued its growth by acquiring the assets of Quickstitch Banners & Finishing Company, making it a subsidiary of PDP and expanding its finishing department to ten sewing machines, a heat welder, and 3 automatic grommet machines.
Doing this allowed us to further add to our customer service level by becoming even faster, more sufficient, and more knowledgeable on all its products. In addition to launching a full-service installation department which has the capabilities of installing various signage products in a large-scale format, from stadiums to the smallest storefronts to vehicle and fleet wraps, PDP does this as blind trade installers.
In November 2021, PDP continued its advancement into technology that would benefit its partners by adding the Scodix Ultra 200 digital enhancement press. A digital marvel in embellishment that provides the largest array of enhancement job capabilities in the print industry today.
Now with the ability to add spot varnish, foil, glitter, metallic, and braille to already printed pieces, this created an opportunity for PDP’s partners to provide even more technological advancements to their customers. As well as introducing its very own product development department that can turn anyone’s most creative packaging, POP, and display ideas into reality.
